• The Tragedy of Man §5 Kimon / Kimón

  Cimon (c. 510–450 BC), Athenian statesman and commander, son of Miltiades the victor of Marathon. In scene 5 he appears as the son proud of his father's legacy, embodying the problem of how greatness is inherited and then lost.
