Epimetheus
Brother of Prometheus in Greek myth (his name means 'afterthought,' as opposed to Prometheus's 'forethought'); in Lorán's poem Epimetheus is recast as the heroic avenger who storms Olympus to demand justice for Prometheus, only to be disarmed by the seductive Pandora.

- Only a Joke §3 Epimetheus
Brother of Prometheus in Greek myth; here Lorán makes him the avenger who stormed Olympus to demand justice, conflating the myth with a revolutionary fantasy — in the received tradition it is Prometheus, not Epimetheus, who is the heroic brother.
