Aaron (Hungarian: Áron), Moses's elder brother and the first High Priest of Israel; in the drama he is the pragmatic community leader who holds the Israelites together during Moses's absences, compelled to cast the golden bull in Act Three, and who resigns his high-priesthood and dies peacefully in Act Five.
