Mount Horeb (in Exodus tradition, the same as Sinai), the sacred mountain in the Sinai Peninsula where God appeared to Moses in the burning bush (Exodus 3) and where the Ten Commandments were given (Exodus 19); the site of Act Two's theophany and Act Three's idolatry crisis.
