Sanchia (daughter of Cabanis)

Sanchia

A fictional character, daughter of the court servant Cabanis and beloved of Arszlán; she dresses in Endre's robe and hat to take the fatal blow intended for him, and is accidentally murdered by her own father. The drama's supreme figure of self-sacrificial innocence.
