Daniel (servant)

Daniel

also: Dániel, atyám régi, hű cseléde

A fictional character in 'The Adventures of Zebedeus Duló' — the narrator's father's old, faithful servant, entrusted with supervising the young narrator on his trip to Pest; his bristling provincial patriotism and fatherly scolding provide much of the tale's comic texture.
