Satan's serpent

also: sátán-kigyó, the serpent in Eden

The serpent of Genesis 3, identified in Christian tradition with Satan, whose smooth seductive tongue is the archetype of evil persuasion; Balázs uses the image to rebuke Mohol's sophistry about murder.
